Overview A 7-pub crawl through Stratford-upon-Avon’s compact old town, running from Waterside east along Henley Street and looping back through Church Street. The route stays entirely inside the historic centre and threads between the canalside, the birthplace of Shakespeare, and the Great Western pub-famous strip. Every pub here is listed, ancient, or doing very well to pretend it is. The distances are tiny: the longest stretch is five minutes and the shortest is around the corner. | D
